Overview

Turn the recipe you're reading into a clear prep table on recipetables.com. One click, no life story.

Reading a recipe shouldn't mean scrolling past someone's childhood memories to find out when the butter goes in. Click the RecipeTables icon on a recipe page and your table opens in the next tab: ingredients down the side, steps left to right, in the format Michael Chu made for Cooking for Engineers. You see the whole dish at a glance: what joins what, when, and what you can prep ahead. • Click the icon on a recipe page. Your table opens in the next tab. • Select part of a page, or clip a screenshot, when the recipe is in a picture or a mess. • Reopen recent tables without converting again. They stay in this browser, and you can clear them or turn them off. • Sites that block our reader still work: the extension uses the page as your browser shows it. Those tables get an unlisted link. • Tables live on recipetables.com. Sign in there to keep them in your recipe box, share them and check off steps while you cook. • Free to start, and more with a free account. • Menus and messages in English, German, Dutch, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese. Recipes keep their own language. Built by one person, on the table format Michael Chu invented.
