Analyze: • Exact duplicates • Possible duplicates • Malformed URLs • Missing protocols • HTTP links • Local / private network addresses • Long-unused bookmarks • Bookmarks never opened through Super Bookmarks Health analysis is intentionally conservative and never automatically deletes bookmarks. 🌐 On-Demand Link Checking Optionally check whether bookmarked websites are still reachable. Results are classified as: • Healthy • Clearly unavailable • Restricted • Temporary issue • Unknown Only clear responses such as 404 / 410 are considered dead links. 403, 429, server errors, timeouts, DNS failures, certificate problems, and other uncertain conditions are not automatically treated as dead links. Link checking never runs automatically. Website access permissions are requested only when you explicitly start a link check. 🛠️ Safe URL Cleanup Super Bookmarks can safely repair URL issues when the correction is deterministic. It will not: • Automatically delete dead links • Automatically delete possible duplicates • Guess that HTTP should become HTTPS • Guess how URL parameters should be changed Batch repairs include recovery and undo support where possible. 🕐 Floating Clock & Traditional Calendar Add a lightweight translucent clock to your bookmark workspace. Display: • Local time • Gregorian date • Weekday • Chinese lunar date • Solar terms • Ganzhi year / month / day • Optional seconds • 12-hour or 24-hour time Available positions: • Bottom-right • Top-right • Bottom-left Customize: • Small / Medium / Large size • Visual intensity • Edge alignment / Center alignment • Show or hide date, weekday, lunar date, Ganzhi, and seconds independently With Edge Alignment, left-side placement aligns text to the left, while right-side placement aligns it to the right. The clock is non-interactive and allows mouse clicks to pass through to bookmarks underneath. Lunar dates, solar terms, and Ganzhi values are calculated locally. No location permission or online calendar service is required. ⚙️ Automatic Settings Persistence Language, views, clock settings, bookmark health preferences, and other options are automatically stored in Chrome local storage. 🎓 Interactive Onboarding Built-in onboarding helps new users quickly understand search, folders, views, batch operations, Command Palette, the floating clock, and bookmark health tools. 🔐 PRIVACY & SECURITY Super Bookmarks follows a Local First philosophy. • No account required • No custom cloud bookmark database • Your bookmarks are not uploaded • Search queries are not uploaded • Aliases are not uploaded • Favorites and visit activity are not uploaded • No advertising analytics or behavioral tracking • Time and calendar features use your device's local system time • Lunar dates, solar terms, and Ganzhi are calculated locally Bookmarks, aliases, favorites, activity metadata, health analysis results, and settings remain in your browser. Only when you explicitly start Link Checking does Super Bookmarks request optional website access and directly contact the corresponding bookmarked websites to determine availability. The extension does not read cookies, does not parse page content, and does not upload checked URLs or results to the developer or a third-party scanning service.
