Super Screen Recorder is a local-first Chrome extension for recording your screen, annotating what you are explaining, and exporting a finished video. Capture a current tab, your entire desktop, or a webcam-only recording. Choose a microphone or capture-source audio when available, and add an optional webcam overlay to tab recordings. During a tab recording, use the in-page control dock to pause, resume, stop, and draw with a pen, arrow, rectangle, ellipse, eraser, or mouse highlight. When you stop, continue in the built-in editor to trim clips, close gaps, adjust source and microphone audio, add text or blur overlays, choose an export aspect ratio, and export locally as MP4 or WebM. Your recordings, camera footage, annotations, editing projects, and exported video stay on your device. Google sign-in is required before recording; it is used for account identity and access decisions, not to upload your media. Site access is used only to show recording controls, annotations, and the webcam overlay on the tab you are recording, including after navigating to another site during an active recording.
