Quietmark
Overview
Automatically mutes tabs and blocks autoplay media per domain, with per-site rules, a whitelist, and a running blocked-count stat.
Quietmark gives you per-domain control over noisy tabs and autoplaying video — set a rule once for a site and it's enforced automatically every time you visit. WHAT IT DOES - Mute this site: silences all tab audio for the current domain with one click from the popup. - Block autoplay: stops video and audio from starting on their own on sites you choose. - Per-site rules: manage a full list of domains in Options, each with independent mute and block-autoplay toggles. - Whitelist: exempt specific domains from every rule, no matter what other rules exist — useful for sites where you always want sound or autoplay to work. - Blocked-count stats: see how many autoplay attempts were blocked today on the current site from the popup, plus lifetime totals and a top-domains breakdown in Options. - Self-test diagnostics: run built-in tests from the Options page to confirm blocking is working as expected. - Reset all rules: clear every per-domain rule in one action (your whitelist and stats are kept), with a confirmation step to prevent accidental resets. HOW IT WORKS Quietmark reads the domain of your active tab and applies whatever rule you've set for it — muting tab audio and/or intercepting autoplay before it starts. Rules are stored locally and checked automatically as you browse; whitelisted domains are always skipped, no exceptions. Everything is managed from a lightweight popup for quick, current-site actions and a full Options page for managing rules, the whitelist, and stats across all your sites.
