Learn English vocabulary while you read Vietnamese web pages. Merid is a browser extension for Vietnamese speakers who want to build their English vocabulary without setting aside extra study time. Instead of opening a dictionary or a flashcard app, you just keep browsing like normal. As you read Vietnamese news, blogs, or any website, Merid quietly finds Vietnamese words it recognizes and shows you the matching English vocabulary word right in the text. You pick up new words in the natural context of whatever you are already reading. How it works: Turn it on and pick a vocabulary set to study from: SAT, CEFR C1, CEFR C2, or all of them combined. Open any Vietnamese website. Merid scans the page, spots Vietnamese words that appear in your chosen set, and shows you their English equivalent. Hover over any of those words to open a learning card with the definition, pronunciation, example sentence, synonyms, antonyms, and the Vietnamese meaning.
