ProofStamp: Screenshot to PDF with URL and Timestamp
Overview
Drag over part of a page and save a PDF stamped with the page URL, title and capture time in local time and UTC. PNG option too.
Stop typing timestamps and URLs onto screenshots. ProofStamp captures a region of the page you’re looking at and saves it as a one-page A4 PDF stamped with the page title, the page URL and the capture time in both local time and UTC. Prefer an image? Save it as PNG instead. HOW IT WORKS Click the ProofStamp icon, then “Capture”, and drag over the part of the page you need. Check the preview and add an optional label (for example “TC-1142 fail”). Download the PDF or PNG. It goes straight to your Downloads folder. WHAT’S ON THE PDF • Your label (optional) • Page title and URL (any username or password embedded in the URL is removed) • Capture time in local time and in UTC, taken from your computer’s clock • The captured region WHO IT’S FOR QA engineers attaching defect evidence to Jira, Linear or Azure DevOps tickets. Support teams recording what a customer saw. Analysts collecting screenshots for audits and reviews. SETTINGS Default format (PDF or PNG), 12- or 24-hour time, and, once licensed, whether to include the small ProofStamp credit line on PDFs. PRIVACY Your captures never leave your browser. ProofStamp runs only when you click it. The capture is held in temporary session storage while the preview is open, and the file is saved to your Downloads folder. The only network request is an optional license check with Gumroad when you activate or re-verify a purchased key (sends your license key and the product ID). No account, no analytics, no tracking. FREE TRIAL, ONE-TIME PRICE Your first 3 captures are free with every feature (trial PDFs carry a “free trial” footer line). After that, a one-time $7.99 license unlocks unlimited captures. No subscription. LIMITS (SO YOU KNOW) • Captures the visible part of the page only. There is no full-page scrolling capture. • Can’t run on browser-internal pages or the extension store pages. • Not a forensic or legal chain-of-custody tool. The timestamp comes from your computer’s clock, and nothing is independently verified or notarised. Support: onceworks.tools@gmail.com
