The Roblox Charts (formerly Discover) page has been cluttered with slop, low quality, exploitative games and many users of the platform have gotten sick of it, me included! Roblox Game Filter helps you take control of your Roblox browsing experience by filtering out unwanted games based on keywords you choose. What's new in 1.3: - Popup now syncs with your Roblox theme, works with Light, Dark, and ROBLOX Plus themes - The friends list works again with Roblox's redesigned friends carousel and hover menu - Your filters and settings now sync across all your Chrome browsers - Keywords can now include any symbol or emoji - Warnings now match your Roblox theme, including light mode, dark mode, Classic and the Roblox Plus themes - A brand-new look that matches Roblox's newer design, with a simpler settings page and a bigger popup window - New Logo & Branding! - New way to access the Roblox Game Filter settings inside of the roblox.com settings menu! - View more changes at our website! Every keyword can use one of two modes: - Exclude: hides games that match (the default) - Include: only shows games that match, great for allowlists Add your keywords in one of two simple ways: 1. Manually: Type them straight into the filter list. Keywords can include letters from any language, symbols and emoji. 2. Upload or export a text or backup file: Move your keyword list between devices. Backups can include your settings too! Your filters are backed up automatically every time they change, so you can always go back to an earlier version. Filtering can be paused with one tap for 5 minutes, an hour, or until you turn it back on. You can make your own pause presets too! You can also choose how filtered games look: - Gray out: Games stay visible but dimmed, and you're warned before opening one. - Hide: Games are removed from the page entirely. This extension also filters the games your friends are playing: - Gray out: Their game is dimmed, and hovering over them shows a warning with the keywords it matched. Joining them takes an extra click to confirm. - Hide: A friend in a filtered game just looks like they're online, and their game is hidden from their menu. If you don't need this, you can turn it off in Settings! Works across Roblox: the Charts page, search results, the home page, communities, game pages, and Roblox's translated pages. Your filters stay in your browser and sync through your Chrome account if you have sync turned on. Nothing is ever sent anywhere else.
