Overview

Know before you click whether a LinkedIn profile is already in your CRM — then import the whole profile in one press.

OVERVIEW Quantum MCP puts your CRM inside LinkedIn. A small badge sits beside the person's name and tells you at a glance whether they are already in your book. Open the popup and you get two tabs: the prospect in front of you, and the account they work for. One click imports everything the page is showing — no copying, no tab-switching, no re-keying. It works the same on a public LinkedIn profile and on a Sales Navigator lead page, and it knows the two are the same person. WHAT THE BADGE IS TELLING YOU • Gold — in your book. The identity matched: the LinkedIn URL, the member id, or the e-mail address. • Amber — probably them, but not proven. The name matches, sometimes the name and the company, with nothing that settles it. One click links the record, and the next visit is gold. • Red — not in your book yet. • Orange — the check itself could not run (no key saved, or the network). A failed check never reads as "not a prospect". The badge sits immediately after the name, in the same place on a public profile and on a Sales Navigator page, so you read your CRM status without leaving your workflow. TWO TABS: THE PROSPECT, AND THEIR ACCOUNT Prospect — who they are, what the page yielded, and whether the record you hold already matches what you're looking at. Account — the company they work for: whether it is in your book, which of the company fields you already hold, the intelligence on file (Sales Navigator alerts, buyer intent, growth, funding, headcount, open roles), and everyone else in your book at that account. From there you can open the company page, open it in Sales Navigator, or jump to the record in your CRM. WHAT IT READS On a public profile: 38 person fields and 17 company fields — name, title, current company, location, photo, About, full experience and education, skills, languages, certifications, publications, patents, projects, honors, organizations, causes, recommendations, featured, posts and post topics, interests, connections, followers, connection degree, mutual connections, pronouns, Open to Work, and e-mail, phone, website and birthday when the page shows them. On a Sales Navigator lead page: the 15 fields that page actually shows, plus what only Sales Navigator has — Lead IQ, the relationship card, and alerts. On a Sales Navigator account page: revenue, buyer intent, growth insights and alerts. Beyond the main profile, 27 page readers pick up what lives on the pages you open: the details tabs (full experience, education, all skills, certifications, publications, patents, projects, honors, organizations, volunteering, languages, courses, test scores, career breaks, recommendations, interests, featured), your prospect's recent activity (posts, comments, reactions), and a company's About, People, Jobs, Posts and Insights tabs. Everything lands on one record. A profile page and its Sales Navigator page resolve to the same person by their LinkedIn member id, so importing both does not create a duplicate — and neither does importing the same person twice. HOW IT READS — AND WHAT IT WILL NOT DO The extension reads the page you have open, when you click. That is the whole rule. • It does not browse for you. It opens no pages, clicks nothing, and follows no links on its own. • It is not a scraper. There is no crawler, no queue of profiles, no headless session, no data pulled from anywhere you have not opened yourself. • It reads only what LinkedIn has already rendered for your own signed-in account — the same page you are looking at. • Optional auto-import captures the profiles you browse, paced with a per-hour limit you choose. If you can see it, it can file it. If you cannot, neither can it. HOW IT WORKS 1. Install — add the extension from the Chrome Web Store. 2. Connect — click the extension icon, enter your Quantum MCP user email, and paste the extension key you generate on your Quantum MCP account page (Chrome Extension → Generate extension key). The key belongs to your seat: revoking it on the platform cuts the extension off without touching your password. 3. Browse — open any LinkedIn profile, company page, or Sales Navigator lead or account page. 4. Read the badge — gold, amber or red, beside the name. 5. Import or update — one click files the prospect and, where it can, the account behind them. 6. Open in your CRM — jump straight to the record and carry on. WHERE IT WORKS • LinkedIn profiles (linkedin.com/in/) • LinkedIn company and school pages (linkedin.com/company/, /school/) • Sales Navigator lead pages (linkedin.com/sales/lead/) • Sales Navigator account pages (linkedin.com/sales/company/) • Sales Navigator people search (linkedin.com/sales/people/) WHO IT IS FOR Sales prospecting — build pipeline from the profiles you are already reading, with the title, company and contact details filed correctly the first time. Account-based selling — research a target account and keep the company record, its people and its buying signals in one place. Territory and market research — track who moves where, which accounts are hiring, and what your buyers are posting about. PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS • activeTab — read the LinkedIn page you are viewing when you open the popup or click Import. • storage — keep your email, your extension key and your auto-import preference in Chrome's extension storage. • scripting — place the badge and panel on the page and run the extractor. • linkedin.com — the badge and extractor run only on LinkedIn profile, company, school and Sales Navigator pages. • quantummcp.ai — the single destination the extension talks to: your own Quantum MCP workspace. A small reader on your own workspace pages notes which account you are signed in as — the e-mail only, never the session token — so the extension can warn you before an import if that differs from the seat the key belongs to. Data handling • The extension reads only the LinkedIn page you are viewing. • What you import is sent over HTTPS to Quantum MCP and written to your own workspace — nowhere else. • Your email, key and preferences live in Chrome's extension storage. No LinkedIn data is stored on your device. • Nothing is sold or shared with third parties, and nothing is used to determine creditworthiness or for lending. • All logic ships inside the package. No remote code. REQUIREMENTS • A Quantum MCP account, and an extension key generated on the platform (quantummcp.ai) • Google Chrome 88 or later • A LinkedIn account • Optional: a Sales Navigator license, for the lead and account intelligence ABOUT QUANTUM MCP Quantum MCP is an AI-powered CRM and sales intelligence platform for B2B teams — prospect prioritization, multi-channel engagement, and agents that do the legwork between conversations. The LinkedIn extension is where most of that work starts: capturing the people and companies you are already researching, correctly, the first time. SUPPORT • quantummcp.ai • success@quantummcp.ai • A two-minute walkthrough is linked at the bottom of the extension popup. WHAT'S NEW IN 1.7 • Two tabs in the popup: the prospect, and the account behind them — with the company's logo, the fields on file, the intelligence you hold, and everyone in your book at that account. • A profile and its Sales Navigator page are one record, matched by LinkedIn member id. Importing both never creates a duplicate, and neither does importing the same person twice. • The badge says what it means: gold when the identity matched, amber when it is probably them, red when they are not in your book, orange when the check could not run. The percentage now tracks the same three bands. • 27 page readers: the details tabs, recent activity, and a company's About, People, Jobs, Posts and Insights. • One field list drives everything, so the extension never claims to read a field it cannot. • Contact info is captured automatically on first-degree connections (you can switch it off). Earlier: 1.6 introduced the single field schema and the full-profile sweep; 1.5 made a successful Connect a precondition for any import; 1.0 was the first release. Install Quantum MCP and stop re-typing what LinkedIn is already showing you.
