AI Bridge — select text on any page and send it to your own AI AI Bridge lets you send the text you select on any web page — plus images, PDFs, and screenshots — to the AI provider of your choice, using your own account. It runs entirely in your browser: no AI Bridge server, no account with us, no subscription. You bring your own provider and pay only what that provider charges (or nothing, with OpenRouter's free models). FREE TO START WITH OPENROUTER • Sign in with OpenRouter in one click. No API key to copy, no credit card required. • Free models are available at up to 50 requests per day. • Add prepaid credits later to use GPT, Gemini, Claude and 290+ other models through the same account. • Prefer your own keys? OpenAI, Google Gemini, and Anthropic Claude are supported with your API key. HOW IT WORKS 1. Select text on any page. A small toolbox appears next to the selection with your pinned skills (Translate, English Teacher, Summarize) and a button to open the side panel. 2. Pick a skill for an instant result, or open the side panel to chat about the selection with full context. 3. Attach images, PDFs, or a screenshot of part of the page by drag-and-drop, paste, or the capture tool. SKILLS: REUSABLE PROMPTS THE AI PICKS FOR YOU • A skill is a name, a description, and instructions. Pin it for a one-click button. Leave it unpinned and the assistant still applies it automatically during free chat when its description matches your request. • Create your own skills with variables (for example a target-language dropdown) and, optionally, a dedicated model per skill. • Three built-in skills to start: Translate, English Teacher, Summarize. MORE • Hover mode: highlight any paragraph as you move the mouse and send it with one click. Toggle per website with Alt+Shift+H. • Enable or disable the extension per website with Alt+Shift+W. • Response language setting (Auto by default: replies in the language you write in). • The side panel keeps your conversation history and can re-highlight the text a message refers to. • Model lists refresh automatically from models.dev, so new models show up without an extension update. PRIVACY • Your selected text, attachments, and messages go directly from your browser to the provider you chose. We never see, store, or log them. • API keys and settings stay in Chrome's storage on your device (synced only between your own Chrome profiles if you use Chrome sync). • No analytics, no tracking, no data sold.
