StatusMock: Modify Status Codes & Responses
Overview
Override HTTP status codes and response bodies.
StatusMock lets you modify API status codes and response bodies. Enable it for a tab, add rules for matching requests, and return custom status codes such as 200, 401, 403, 404, 429, or 500 while you test your frontend. Use StatusMock to: - Change status code of Fetch/XHR responses - Change the response body StatusMock is built for local, developer-focused testing. Rules are stored locally in your browser, and mocking only runs on tabs where you explicitly enable it. It is a lightweight tool for frontend engineers, QA testers, and product teams who need a faster way to validate real-world API failure scenarios before shipping.
