Shopping Night Owl is a small Chrome extension for people who do their online shopping late at night. After midnight, the words "Today" and "Tomorrow" stop meaning what you think they mean. Amazon's "Get it Tomorrow" at 2 AM is not the day you're about to wake up on. It's the day after that. Shopping Night Owl adds a short note under each delivery estimate on Amazon so you always know the actual calendar date, how many nights of sleep it is away, and whether the order cutoff will pass while you're asleep. WHAT YOU'LL SEE • A note under the delivery estimate on product pages, with the real date and the number of sleeps. • A warning when the "Order within X hrs" cutoff falls before your usual wake-up time. • Compact date chips on search results and product carousels. • The same treatment in the cart and at checkout. HOW IT DECIDES Tell it when you usually call it a night and when you usually wake up. Between midnight and your bedtime it assumes you haven't slept yet and counts from there. Outside those hours it stays quiet, unless you switch it to always-on. If you'd rather it made no assumptions about your schedule, turn the schedule off and it simply states the calendar date next to every estimate. PRIVACY No account, no sign-in, no tracking, no network requests. The extension reads only the delivery text already on the page and stores your settings in your own Chrome profile. WHERE IT WORKS It works on the English-language Amazon stores for the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland, India, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates. Free and open.
