Seekmory — Private Browser History Search
Overview
Find history by keyword or meaning. Date filters, bulk delete, CSV backup, stats. Local archive beyond 3 months; never uploaded.
Remember a page. Find it again. Keep the history you want, and clear what you don't. Seekmory turns Chrome's History page into a searchable local archive. Quickly find pages you have visited, narrow them down by time, and clean up unwanted records. Your archived browsing data stays on your device and is never uploaded. #### 1. Quickly recall pages from the clues you remember Search saved titles, URLs and short summaries by keyword. When you remember the idea rather than the exact wording, try semantic search to find related pages by meaning. Semantic processing also runs on your device. Use the date picker or a date range to focus on when you visited. Combine time, website and source-device filters with your query to narrow a long history down to the pages you need. Browse the timeline when you would rather retrace a day's visits. #### 2. Quickly delete the history you no longer want Delete an individual record, select several results, or preview records matching a deletion query before confirming. Clear visits on selected dates or remove all existing history for a page, depending on the action you choose. History-deletion actions apply to the corresponding Chrome history and Seekmory records. The separate Clear archive action deletes Seekmory's local archive, visit statistics and search indexes while leaving Chrome history intact. It also stops archiving until you explicitly resume it. #### 3. Keep a long-term archive, entirely on your device Seekmory starts with the Chrome history still available at initialization and continues building your archive as you browse. Records already archived are not subject to a three-month retention limit and do not automatically expire just because time has passed. You decide which records to keep or delete. Browsing history, saved summaries, search queries, indexes and semantic processing stay on your device. Seekmory never uploads this browsing data to the developer or third parties. There is no advertising, telemetry, remote inference or sale of browsing data. No account is required. Search your saved archive offline. The archive contains browsing records, links and short summaries; it does not store complete offline copies of websites. #### 4. Bring up search from the page you are already viewing While reading, researching or working on a regular webpage, press the shortcut to open Seekmory's search panel over your current page. Search by website, title, keyword or a topic you remember. You do not need to open a new tab or visit the History page to start searching. Use Up and Down to choose a result, Enter to open it, and Esc to close the panel. Selecting a result opens the destination in a new tab. You can configure the shortcut in Chrome's extension shortcut settings. #### 5. Understand your browsing and manage your own backups See frequently visited websites, pages you return to, active hours and recent visit trends. These insights are calculated locally. Export your archive as CSV for a backup you control, or import a compatible CSV archive to restore or transfer saved records. Import and export happen locally, without uploading the archive to Seekmory. #### 6. Free essentials, with an optional one-time Pro upgrade Local archiving, keyword search, time/site/device filters, deletion, browsing insights and CSV import/export are free. Free also includes 10 entries into semantic search, counted cumulatively on this installation. History and quick search share the allowance, and the interface shows how many entries remain. Changing your query or loading more results within the same semantic session does not spend another entry. Seekmory Pro is a one-time purchase of US$9.90 that permanently unlocks unlimited semantic-search entries in the activated Chrome profile. There is no subscription. The activation key is verified locally, and everyday use stays offline. Checkout opens on the external Seekmory website only when you choose to continue. Creem is the merchant of record; Seekmory is operated by Johnie. Google does not sell this purchase. Browsing history, page content and search terms are never included in the checkout request, and the extension does not handle payment-card details. Review purchase, refund and support information on the purchase website before paying. #### How your data is handled Seekmory's single purpose is to let you browse and search your own Chrome history in a local archive. Seekmory reads Chrome History data, including page titles, full URLs, visit times, visit counts, and available device/source information. On HTTP and HTTPS pages you visit, Seekmory locally extracts the page title, URL, and a short, bounded summary. On email, chat, or other communication pages, that bounded visible-text summary may include personal communications displayed on the page. Seekmory also processes the search terms, filters, and deletion commands you enter. This information is used only for Seekmory's user-visible local history browsing, search, filtering, deletion, backup, and archive insights. It is processed and stored on your device in the extension database. Seekmory does not upload or transmit browsing history, page content, search terms, embeddings, or indexes to the developer or third parties, and does not use them for advertising or analytics. Full page bodies, passwords, form entries, authentication cookies and payment-card details are not stored in the archive.
