Overview

Mark Bitbucket Data Center PR files as reviewed, and focus on the files that carry the design decisions, with per-file summaries.

Bitbucket Data Center pull requests don't have a per-file "mark as reviewed" state. This extension adds one — purely as a personal tracker, separate from Bitbucket's actual approval workflow. What you get • A "Mark reviewed" button next to each file's diff actions. Toggles between ○ Mark reviewed and ✓ Reviewed. • A green ✓ in the file tree on every file you have reviewed. • A pill in the PR header — "X of Y files reviewed" — that turns green when every file is checked. • Keyboard shortcut Shift+R. (Bitbucket's own R for "mark viewed" is left alone.) • Reset per-PR or reset everything from the toolbar popup. Focused review (optional) When a pull request's description links design-decision-files.txt, file-descriptions.txt, symbols.txt and/or line-notes.txt attachments (for example written by a review assistant): • A "Focused diff" tab shows the files that carry the design decisions first, with the same Mark reviewed toggles and a progress lozenge. • File filters: Decisions · Review (hides translations, generated and import-only files) · All. • A title and a short summary of the changes appear above each file's diff. • Classes and functions the pull request defines are underlined wherever they are used: hover to peek at the definition, click to jump to it, click a definition to list its usages across the pull request. • Notes pinned to specific lines explain the why behind them. • Backend · Frontend filter in the file tree, on every pull request. • The filters remember your last choice across tabs and pull requests. Reading like an editor • Click a word or variable to highlight every occurrence in the file. • A sticky header shows the class and method you are scrolled into. • Full-file view with an outline of the file's classes and methods. • "Expand all" on the Diff tab shows every line in Bitbucket's own view, with comments still working, and can run automatically for every file. • A minimap of the whole file beside the diff shows the changes, classes and methods at a glance; click or drag it to move around. • Files you reviewed are flagged again when the pull request's own changes to them move on — merging the target branch in does not count. • Every feature can be switched off from the toolbar popup. How site access works The extension installs with NO site access. The toolbar icon turns blue when you visit a URL that looks like a Bitbucket pull request. Click the icon, confirm Chrome's site-permission dialog, and the tracker activates on that host only. You can disable it again from the popup at any time. This makes the extension safe to install even if you only need it for a single Bitbucket server. Privacy No data leaves your browser. Review state is stored only in chrome.storage.local and auto-expires after 30 days. The only network requests go to the Bitbucket server you are viewing, with your own session, to read the pull request's attachments and diffs for the focused view. Nothing is sent to anyone else. See the privacy policy for full details. Tested against Bitbucket Data Center 7.16.1 and 8.14.4. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Atlassian. "Bitbucket" is a trademark of Atlassian Pty Ltd, used here descriptively to identify compatibility.
