Ad Guard Pro: Ad Blocker for Banners, Video Ads and Pop-ups

Ad blocker for banner ads, video ads, and pop-ups. They are stopped before the page loads.

Ad Guard Pro is an ad blocker. It blocks banner ads, video ads, pop-ups, and ad-tracker requests before they load. It starts working the moment you install it. There is nothing to configure. The toolbar shield is green while a page is being cleaned, and the badge shows how many requests were blocked on that page. Banner ads are the strips, sidebars, and blocks that push content aside. Pop-ups that open by themselves are stopped. Video ads are blocked so you reach the video. Known ad-tracker hosts are stopped with the same list. The list ships inside the extension. Nothing is downloaded later. Allow this site turns blocking off for that site, the shield turns grey, and the page reloads. Block again resumes it. The choice stays on this computer. Empty ad slots collapse so a blocked banner does not leave a hole. Hide this keeps a piece you click off that site. Hide this is $4.99 a month. Blocking stays free. An advertisement written into the page text can still show. YouTube video is not cut, so the video keeps playing.
