Enter a URL once and Viewport Wall creates a visual wall of browser views using realistic dimensions, pixel density, touch input, and optional mobile user agents. It is designed for developers and QA engineers who want to check layouts, interactions, breakpoints, and visual behavior without constantly resizing the browser or opening multiple windows. ✨ FEATURES 📱 Device Emulation Each view can use its own viewport dimensions, device pixel ratio, touch settings, and user agent. Emulation is powered by Chrome's DevTools Protocol. Choose from built-in presets or create your own custom dimensions. 🔴 Live Views See what each page is rendering in real time. Scrolling, animations, layout changes, and dynamic content appear directly on the wall. 🔄 Synchronized Interaction Enable Sync Mode to mirror navigation, scrolling, clicks, and typing across your selected views. Turn sync off whenever you want to interact with one view independently. 📖 Foldable Preview Supported foldable presets can switch between folded and unfolded states without creating a separate entry, making it easy to compare how a layout adapts. ⚡ Local Development Mode For local development servers, Viewport Wall can use an interactive live frame without the normal capture pipeline. This provides a faster workflow while building and testing locally. 📸 Screenshots & Recording Capture an individual view, a full page, or the complete wall. Sessions can also be recorded as WebM video for demos, bug reports, and QA documentation. 💾 Saved Workspaces Save commonly used configurations and sessions for later. This allows agent-based development workflows to inspect and work with the same visual testing environment used in the extension. 🌙 THEMES Switch between dark and light themes to match your development environment. ⚠️ ABOUT CHROME'S DEBUGGING BANNER While Viewport Wall is active, Chrome displays a notice stating that the extension started debugging the browser. This is Chrome's own security notice for extensions using the debugger API and cannot be hidden by the extension. Viewport Wall uses this API to provide browser emulation, touch input, and rendered frame access. Closing the wall ends the debugging session. 🔒 PRIVACY Viewport Wall works locally in your browser. There are no accounts, external servers, analytics, tracking, or data collection. Your browsing activity and testing sessions are not sent to us.
