Overview
SquadFlow — Manual QA Companion. AI-powered Test Cases, Bug Reports & Smart Suggestions with 8+ AI providers. Jira integrated.
SquadFlow is a comprehensive, local-first Chrome extension designed to streamline manual testing, bug reporting, and test case generation for QA engineers and manual testers. By bridging the gap between manual UI testing and structured testing workflows, the extension automates the most tedious aspects of quality assurance. The extension solves several core testing bottlenecks. Instead of manually writing out bug reports and formatting steps, QA engineers can record their actions directly on the page. The extension captures user interactions, allows users to choose between sequential screenshots or full video recordings, and utilizes AI to transform these actions into structured, professional bug reports. These reports feature clear preconditions, reproducible steps, actual and expected results, and automatic severity justifications. With built-in Jira and AIO Tests integrations, testers can fetch user stories directly into the extension, generate complete manual test cases, and export them as AIO-compatible CSV files or create them directly inside their Jira project. For data input testing, the extension injects a smart floating test data panel. Testers can fill individual fields from ten ready-made test data categories, including boundary cases. Alternatively, they can use the "Fill All" toolbar to instantly populate all fields with a "Happy Scenario" or a "Bad Scenario" containing invalid inputs to verify validation. An intelligent safety mechanism automatically adapts restricted browser input types to prevent validation warnings during bad-data testing. For testing role-based applications, Session Containers let testers stay signed in to different accounts of the same site (for example an Employee and a Contractor account) in separate, colour-coded tabs of one browser, without logging out and back in. The cookies of the sites the tester adds are kept only in the browser. The extension works with the AI provider of your choice: you pick a provider in Settings and add your own API key, and all AI requests go directly from your browser to that provider. Privacy is a fundamental design principle. The extension does not collect, track, or upload any user data. All configurations, API keys, Jira credentials, and generated history are stored locally using Chrome's local storage API. No external servers or intermediate databases are used, ensuring your test environments and proprietary keys remain secure.
