Password Peek — Show Hidden Passwords
Overview
Temporarily reveal password fields when websites do not provide a visibility toggle.
Some sign-in pages do not provide an eye button to check the password you typed. Password Peek adds a temporary show/hide control to password fields so you can verify your input before signing in. Password Peek is designed for quick, local visibility only: - Adds a gold eye button beside password fields that need a visibility control. - Lets you reveal or hide detected password fields from the toolbar icon. - Automatically hides revealed passwords again after 30 seconds, when the page is hidden, or when a form is submitted. - Avoids adding duplicate controls when a website already provides its own password visibility button. - Works on normal HTTP and HTTPS web pages where Chrome allows extensions to run. Password Peek does not save, transmit, log, or inspect password values. It only changes the local display type of the password field in the current page.
