Overview

Shows video resolution, estimated FPS, and video bitrate when available in the current tab.

Video Resolution Inspector helps you check the quality of videos playing in your current tab. Click the extension icon to see: - Resolution — the video’s live dimensions, such as 1920 × 1080 or 3840 × 2160. - Estimated FPS — the number of frames displayed per second of video playback. - Estimated video bitrate — shown when the browser provides the necessary data. - Playback status — whether each video is playing, ready, or loading. Keep the popup open during playback to refresh the measurements automatically. FPS and bitrate are estimates. Some players do not expose bitrate information; these show “Unavailable”. Videos in embedded players hosted on another domain may not be accessible. The extension uses temporary page access when you click its icon. All processing happens locally in your browser. It does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data, browsing history, or video content.
