**RHC Queue Notifier watches your NICE inContact MAX phone queues and tells you the moment a caller is waiting — with a sound, a desktop notification, and a color-coded badge on the toolbar icon.** If you work a phone queue in NICE inContact MAX, you know the drill: keep a queue panel open, glance at it constantly, and hope you don't miss someone waiting. RHC Queue Notifier does that watching for you, so you can focus on your work and still never miss a caller. **How it works** Rather than scraping the screen, RHC Queue Notifier talks directly to the same REST API that NICE inContact MAX itself uses to show you queue counts. A lightweight content script running on your open MAX tab reads the session you're already signed into, checks your queues every few seconds, and reports back the exact number of callers waiting and how long the longest one has been on hold — straight from NICE inContact's own servers. **Key features** - Live popup showing every phone queue you're set up to see, with current counts and wait times, refreshed automatically. - Smart alerts: choose exactly which queues should trigger a notification, how many seconds someone must be waiting before you're alerted, and write your own custom alert message per queue (with placeholders for the queue name, caller count, and wait time). - Sound your way: pick from several built-in alert tones or upload your own sound file, and set the volume. Alerts fire only once per "wait episode" by default, with an optional repeat interval if you want to be reminded while someone is still on hold. - At-a-glance status badge: pick one extra queue (Customer Service, by default) to show as a live count on the toolbar icon in a color you choose — purely informational, with no sound or notification. If a monitored queue has someone waiting, that always takes priority and turns the badge red, just like the alert badge always has. - Ready out of the box: comes pre-configured to alert on "Repairs Queue Inbound" after 10 seconds of wait time, with a sensible default message - tweak or replace it in Options in a minute. **Setup** 1. Install the extension and pin it to your toolbar. 2. Sign in to NICE inContact and open the MAX application as you normally would, and leave that tab open (it can sit in the background). 3. Click the Queue Notifier icon any time to see live counts for all your phone queues. 4. Open Options to choose which queues alert you, adjust thresholds and messages, pick a sound, and set up the informational badge queue. **Privacy and data handling** RHC Queue Notifier only ever talks to NICE inContact's own domains (max.niceincontact.com and the matching niceincontact.com API host your account uses) - never to any third-party server. It reads the authentication token your own MAX session already holds in order to call NICE inContact's API as you, decodes it locally just to find your agent ID, and never transmits that token, your queue data, or any other browsing information anywhere outside your own browser. All settings are stored using Chrome's built-in storage APIs on your own device/profile. There is no analytics, tracking, or advertising of any kind in this extension. **Good to know** - A NICE inContact MAX tab needs to be open for live monitoring to work, since that's where the extension reads your authenticated session from - there's no separate sign-in step, and your credentials are never seen or handled by the extension. - RHC Queue Notifier is an independent, unofficial tool built to make monitoring NICE inContact MAX queues easier.
