Colossyan Screen Capture records your screen, zooms in on what you click, trims the dead air, and sends the result to Colossyan as editable scenes, with an AI avatar and voice if you want them. THREE WAYS TO START Screen recording Record a browser tab, an app window or your whole screen. Add your microphone, your camera and the tab's sound if you want them, and pause whenever you need a moment. Step-by-step Click through an app and every click becomes a screenshot with the spot you clicked marked. Export it as an interactive simulation where learners click through the real steps, or as a PDF guide. Upload a video Already have a recording? Drop in an MP4, WebM or MOV file up to 1 GB and 30 minutes long. It is transcribed and split into scenes at natural pauses, ready to edit. AN EDITOR THAT DOES THE TEDIOUS PART - Zoom on clicks: the video zooms in on every click by itself. Move or resize any zoom, pick a zoom level preset, or add your own. - Cut long pauses: silences are trimmed for you, and you can turn it off to get them back. - Trim and split: drag the grips at either end to trim, split into scenes, and cut out mistakes. - Blur and highlight: hide sensitive data and point attention where it belongs. - Backgrounds: frame the recording on a gradient, including one made from your own brand colors. SEND IT WHERE YOU NEED IT - To Colossyan as a new draft or one you already have, one scene per step, with your own narration or an AI voice, and an AI avatar as presenter. - To your Colossyan media library. - As an MP4 download, or as steps or a PDF guide. Your recordings stay on your computer under Recent recordings until you delete them, so you can come back and export again. REQUIREMENTS A Colossyan account. You sign in to Colossyan before you start, and the extension uses that signed-in session. It never asks for or stores your password, and it needs no API keys. PRIVACY Colossyan Screen Capture does not run ads, does not sell data, and does not track your browsing. Recordings and screenshots stay on your computer until you export them, and are then uploaded only to your own Colossyan workspace. Narration and the audio of uploaded videos are transcribed using OpenAI Whisper. To understand how the extension is used and fix problems, it sends Colossyan short usage events and failure reports tied to your Colossyan account, with counts, lengths and on/off settings only: never your recordings, screenshots, narration or the pages you visit.
