Support Places Desk Booker Book a desk on the Accenture PLACES portal in a couple of clicks, without stepping through the full booking flow every time. The extension adds a small panel to support-places.accenture.com. From it you can book a named desk on any date, book your usual desk two weeks ahead in one click, see who's booked what on a floor, and view, cancel or check in to your own bookings. It can also check you in and book your usual desk ahead automatically. It runs entirely inside your existing PLACES session. Your sign-in and building are detected automatically. Nothing you do leaves the PLACES site. GETTING STARTED 1. Sign in to support-places.accenture.com and open a desk page. 2. The Desk Booker panel appears near the top of the page and shows "Ready — <your name>" once it's connected. 3. Pick a floor and date, type a desk (for example 3.11A), and click Book Desk. SETTING YOUR DEFAULTS Open the settings from the gear icon on the panel, or from the extension's toolbar icon — both change the same preferences, and they're remembered for next time: • Default Floor — choose from the floors in your building (detected automatically once you've opened a PLACES page). • Default Desk — the desk pre-filled into the panel. Leave it blank if you'd rather type a desk each time. • Start time — the start time for your bookings. The end time is always 6:00 pm. • Auto check-in today's booking — checks you in to today's desk automatically when you open a PLACES page. • Auto-book default desk 2 weeks ahead — books your Default Desk two weeks out automatically, unless you already have a booking that day. Needs a Default Desk set. WHAT THE BUTTONS DO • Book Desk — books the desk in the Desk field on the selected floor and date. • Book Desk (2 wk) — books the desk in the Desk field two weeks ahead in one click. • Bookings — shows every booking on the chosen floor and date, and who holds it. • My Bookings — lists your upcoming bookings, each with a check-in button that appears on the day of the booking, and a cancel button available until you've checked in. NOTES • Floors and your building are detected from your PLACES profile, so the extension works wherever you're based. • Settings can be opened from the gear icon on the panel or from the extension's toolbar icon. • The panel can be minimised with the "–" control and reopened from the tab that appears.
