Dibs is for resellers and flippers, where being first to message the seller is the entire game. Save a search you already run — a model of bike, a brand of tool, a price range near you — and Dibs re-runs it on a schedule inside your own browser, in your own signed-in session. When something new appears you hear about it in minutes, not the hours the site's own saved-search alert can take: a desktop notification, Telegram, Discord, an email digest, or a signed webhook to your own tooling. No copying links, no refreshing tabs. HOW IT WORKS • Open any search page on a supported marketplace and click the Dibs icon. • Choose "Watch this search". That is the whole setup. • Dibs re-opens that search quietly in a collapsed tab group every few minutes and reports only listings it has not shown you before — with the photo, price, location and a link straight to the listing. • Every listing a search has ever found stays in your history at dibs.deals, searchable by words, price and search, even after it is gone from the marketplace. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO • It never reads your messages, your profile, your password, or your browsing. It reads exactly one thing: the listing results on the search pages you asked it to watch. • It never posts, messages, or acts on your behalf. • It never sells your data or uses it for advertising. Everything runs in your browser as you. There is no server logging in as you, no shared account, and nothing to hand over. COMPATIBILITY Dibs works with Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist and OfferUp search pages. Craigslist and OfferUp access is optional: Dibs asks your permission the first time you watch a search on one of those sites, and does nothing there until you grant it.
