Tabwright
Overview
Turn signed-in browser workflows into portable Agent Skills for Codex, Claude, and other agents.
Tabwright lets AI coding agents control your existing Chrome browser through a local CLI and MCP server. Unlike browser tools that launch a separate browser profile, Tabwright works with the Chrome window you already use, including your existing logins, tabs, and extensions. It exposes the Playwright API for reliable navigation, interaction, inspection, screenshots, network debugging, and reusable browser capabilities. Key features: • Control your existing Chrome with Playwright • Works with Codex, Cursor, Claude, VS Code, and other MCP clients • Keep browser state across commands with persistent sessions • Record browser workflows and turn them into reusable capabilities • Inspect pages, network traffic, console logs, and live JavaScript • Store capability authentication locally on your computer Tabwright runs a local WebSocket relay on your computer. Browser data and capability cookies remain local unless you explicitly use a remote or cloud feature.
