KubbeeVault Auto Login Fill supported login forms with credentials from KubbeeVault—without manually copying and pasting passwords. KubbeeVault Auto Login connects your organization’s KubbeeVault access workflow to supported websites and enterprise portals. When KubbeeVault provides an integration token for a configured portal, the extension detects eligible login fields and asks for your approval before retrieving and filling your credentials. Key features: - Autofill with your approval: Accept the KubbeeVault prompt to retrieve and fill the credentials associated with your access token. - Support for multistep sign-in: Handles supported forms that request your username first and your password on a following screen. After approval, it can automatically advance the username step and continue filling the password. - Domain checks: Checks the portal hostname against the hostnames supplied by the KubbeeVault integration before requesting credentials. - Protected form fields: Makes filled fields read-only, restricts common copy and editing actions, and disables recognized password-reveal controls. - Credentials retrieved when needed: Fetches credentials through the extension’s background service from explicitly allowed KubbeeVault API endpoints. - You complete sign-in: Fills the password without automatically submitting the final login form. How it works: 1. Open a supported portal through your organization’s KubbeeVault workflow. 2. When eligible login fields are detected, approve the KubbeeVault autofill prompt. 3. The extension retrieves and fills the required credentials, continuing through supported username-first screens when necessary. 4. Review the page and submit the login form yourself. Storage and credential handling The extension does not persist retrieved usernames or passwords in its extension storage. It temporarily stores integration tokens and portal information locally to support the login flow. These records have a one-hour validity window and are removed after successful password filling; expired records are removed when checked. Field protections help reduce casual copying, editing, and password revealing within the page. They do not make credentials inaccessible to the website receiving them. Requirements: - Access to a supported Kubbeevault environment. - A portal configured for the Kubbeevault Chrome integration. - A valid integration token supplied through the Kubbeevault workflow. - A compatible login form. Compatibility depends on the website’s login implementation. The extension supports selected login patterns; it does not guarantee compatibility with every website or SSO flow.
