nivas — rental hunting for Kijiji

Organize your Kijiji rental hunt: save listings, track each one's status, take notes, pin comments on photos and check the commute.

Hunting for a rental on Kijiji? nivas keeps the whole search in one place, right next to the listings. Forty open tabs, a notes app, a spreadsheet and a Google Maps window just to remember which apartment had the good kitchen and how far it was from work. nivas replaces all of that with a sidebar on Kijiji and a board that follows every listing from first look to signed lease. SAVE AND TRACK • Save any rental from its page, or straight from the search results. • Give each listing a status: To see later, To contact, Contacted, Viewing booked, Viewed, Applied, Leased, Rejected or Unavailable. nivas suggests the likely next step. • Status badges on search results show at a glance what you've seen. Rejected listings can be dimmed or hidden. • Price drops are recorded automatically when you revisit a listing. NOTES THAT STAY PUT • Notes save as you type: questions for the landlord, viewing times, first impressions. • Open the photos full screen at the largest size Kijiji offers, and pin comments to the exact spot: "Fridge looks brand new", "Is that a water stain?" CHECK THE COMMUTE IN ONE CLICK • Add the places that matter, like work, campus or family, and get Google Maps directions from any of them by transit, car, bike or on foot. • No places added? Directions start from where you are now. • For apartments and condos, one click opens the building on Google Maps so you can read its reviews. YOUR WHOLE HUNT AT A GLANCE • A board with a column for each status, with drag and drop. • A searchable list of everything you've saved: titles, addresses, notes and photo comments. • A detail page for every listing with its gallery, notes and status history. HUNTING WITH SOMEONE? SHARE THE SEARCH (OPTIONAL) • Turn on sharing and you both see every saved listing, status and photo comment within seconds. • Each of you keeps your own notes, and you can read each other's. Nothing is overwritten. • Sharing is an optional paid plan on nivas.aiagentslive.com: CA$20 for two people for two years. Everything above is free and works without it. YOUR DATA, PLAINLY • Without sharing, nothing leaves your browser. There is no account, no tracking and no ads, and nothing is sent to us or anyone else. • If you turn on sharing, this is everything we keep on nivas.aiagentslive.com: - Your email address and language, to sign you in. There is no password: we email you a six-digit code. The people on your plan see only a short name (the part before the @), never your full address. - A sign-in token. The extension holds it, and our server keeps only a scrambled (hashed) copy. - The IP address of each sign-in request, only to limit abuse. It is deleted along with old codes. - The listings, statuses, notes and photo comments you share. Everyone on your plan can read them. Photos are not copied, only their links. - A record of each plan purchase. Stripe takes your card; we never see the number. • We never sell your data, show ads, send marketing email, read your browsing history or ask for your location. • Export a backup or move to another computer with JSON export and import. Shortcut: Alt+Shift+N shows or hides the sidebar. Proudly made in Toronto. nivas is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Kijiji or Google.
