Overview

Chat with Copilot in Chrome's side panel or a popup, next to the page you're on.

CoPilot EveryWhere - Copilot Sidebar for Chrome: your AI assistant next to every page CoPilot EveryWhere opens Microsoft Copilot in Chrome's side panel, so your AI assistant is one click away while you browse. Chat with Copilot right next to the website you're reading: ask questions, write and rewrite text, summarize articles you paste in, translate, brainstorm ideas or get help with code, all without switching tabs. Prefer a compact window? Open Copilot as a popup instead. A COPILOT SIDEBAR FOR GOOGLE CHROME If you like having Copilot in the Microsoft Edge sidebar, CoPilot EveryWhere gives Chrome the same side-by-side view. The AI chat sits beside the page you're on, so you can read on one side and chat on the other, then close the panel with one click. Click the CoPilot EveryWhere icon in the toolbar (pin it for quick access) or press Ctrl+Shift+Y. 2. The first time, press "Allow access to copilot.com". For voice, press the microphone button in the panel once and allow access. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Is this the official Microsoft Copilot extension? No. CoPilot EveryWhere is an independent extension. It shows Copilot's own website, copilot.com, inside Chrome's side panel or a popup. Does it read the pages I visit? No. The extension doesn't read or send the pages you visit. To ask about something on a page, copy the text into Copilot. Do I need an account? Copilot may ask you to sign in with a Microsoft, Google or Apple account. You can sign in right from the panel. Why does it ask for access to copilot.com? Copilot moved from copilot.microsoft.com to copilot.com. Chrome asks for your permission once, and nothing is opened before you allow it.
