WHAT IT DOES • Fix Grammar & Spelling — polish anything in one click • Rephrase — get fresh, natural wording every time • Summarize — turn a 10-minute read into a 30-second one • Change Tone — Professional, Casual, Friendly, Direct, or Confident presets • Explain — break down jargon, legal text, or technical concepts • Translate — 10 languages (English, Vietnamese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese), with a primary-language shortcut and Smart Translate that auto-detects the source • Add Emoji — liven up a message in one click Works in plain inputs, textareas, and rich-text editors (TinyMCE and other contenteditable-based editors). Trigger it from the floating button, the right-click menu, or keyboard shortcuts. A side panel adds one-click Summarize, Smart Translate, and Explain for the whole page you're reading. WHAT MAKES OMNI AI DIFFERENT Most AI extensions lock you into a subscription and a single model. Omni AI doesn't. • Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) — use your own API key for Google Gemini, OpenAI, Groq, or Anthropic Claude. Pay the provider directly for what you actually use, nothing more. • Custom Gateway Support — connect any OpenAI-compatible endpoint: DeepSeek, OpenRouter, a self-hosted proxy, or your own gateway. • Universal Editor Support — plain inputs, textareas, and contenteditable rich-text editors across the web. • Clean, Focused UI — a glassmorphic floating button appears where you're working and gets out of the way when you don't need it (can be turned off entirely in Settings). QUICK SETUP Omni AI needs one API key to work. Pick a provider: • Google Gemini — aistudio.google.com/app/apikey (free tier available) • OpenAI — platform.openai.com/api-keys • Groq — console.groq.com/keys (fast inference, free tier available) • Anthropic Claude — console.anthropic.com/settings/keys • Custom Gateway — enter your base URL, key, and model in Settings KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS • Alt+A — Quick Ask about the current selection • Alt+R — Rephrase selected text • Alt+T — Smart Translate selected text • Alt+F — Fix Grammar on selected text Summarize and Explain are also available as commands — assign your own shortcut (and customize any of the above) at chrome://extensions/shortcuts. USAGE DASHBOARD Settings → Usage shows total actions run, words processed, and words generated — a quick look at how much time Omni AI is saving you. PRIVACY • No middlemen — your browser talks directly to the AI provider's API. We don't operate a backend that sees your prompts. • No tracking — no browsing history, prompt logging, or identity collection. • Local storage only — your API keys stay in your local Chrome profile.
