JobAgent — Job Application Assistant

Fills in and submits LinkedIn Easy Apply and Greenhouse forms for jobs you pick, with answers you gave. Stops if one is missing.

JobAgent's extension fills in and submits job applications you start from your JobAgent account (jobagent.uk). It works on two kinds of form: LinkedIn Easy Apply, and employers' application forms hosted on Greenhouse. You need a JobAgent account. The extension applies only to jobs you chose in JobAgent. It doesn't search for jobs or apply to anything by itself. Finding and matching jobs, and tailoring your CV and cover letter, happen in the JobAgent web app, not in the extension. LINKEDIN EASY APPLY • Choose Easy Apply jobs in JobAgent and send them to the extension. It opens each one on LinkedIn in your browser, fills in the Easy Apply form and submits it. • It uses your own LinkedIn sign-in in this browser. It doesn't sign in for you or store your LinkedIn password or session. The popup only checks whether you're signed in. • LinkedIn sends the résumé saved on your LinkedIn profile. The extension uploads no CV or cover letter there. • It handles at most 12 applications an hour. GREENHOUSE APPLICATIONS • Start an application to a Greenhouse job in JobAgent. The extension opens the employer's Greenhouse form in a new tab, fills it in and submits it. • For that application, it downloads your CV from your JobAgent account (the version tailored for the job, or else the file you uploaded) and your cover letter, and attaches them to the form. It doesn't keep them afterwards. • Access to greenhouse.io is optional. Chrome asks for it the first time you apply to a Greenhouse job, and the extension uses it only in the tab it opens for that application. • If Greenhouse asks for a security code it emailed you, you type it in yourself. ANSWERS COME FROM YOU • It answers a question only with something you gave: your JobAgent Profile, or an answer you saved for that question before. • It doesn't guess. If the form requires something you haven't answered, it stops before submitting and leaves the tab open for you to finish. JobAgent then lists the questions it stopped on so you can answer them for next time. • An application counts as submitted only when LinkedIn or Greenhouse confirms it. If there's no confirmation, JobAgent marks it for you to check. WHERE IT RUNS • LinkedIn job pages, jobagent.uk, and, once you allow it, the Greenhouse form tab it opened for you. Nowhere else. GOOD TO KNOW • LinkedIn's User Agreement restricts automated activity, and using automation on LinkedIn may put your account at risk. JobAgent shows you this before you install or use the extension. Using it is optional. • It doesn't solve CAPTCHAs or bot checks. A form that wants a person stops for you. • It sends data only to jobagent.uk: each application's outcome, why one stopped, and answers you choose to save. No analytics or tracking.
