Overview
AI workflow side panel for page reading, design review, frontend inspection, translation, QA, and reviewed form filling.
WTFAA: AI Web Inspector & Assistant WTFAA (Web Tool For AI Analysis) is a Chrome side panel extension that works with the page in your current tab. Pick one of three roles (Reader, Designer, or Developer) and run one of its four actions to get a structured AI answer about the page. You can keep asking follow-up questions in the panel. 📖 Reader • Summarize: key points, a short summary, and takeaways from the page. • Explain This Page: explains the concepts, background, and important details of the page. • Extract Keywords: main topics, supporting terms, and named entities (people, organizations, products) found on the page. • Turn Into Social Post: drafts an X/Twitter thread, a LinkedIn post, and a one-liner, using only claims supported by the page. 🎨 Designer • Visual Analysis: hierarchy, layout, spacing, typography, and color use of the visible page. • Color & Contrast Notes: colors collected locally from the page's computed styles, with notes on how they are used and on visible contrast risks. • Design Critique: strengths, weak points, and prioritized suggestions for the visible UI. • Visible A11y Review: a heuristic check of visible accessibility signals (contrast, focus indicators, labels, heading order, image alt text). It is not a WCAG compliance certification. 👨💻 Developer • Detect Frontend Stack: likely frontend frameworks, styling, and build tools, based on public page evidence (DOM, script URLs, meta tags, CSS classes). It does not detect backend architecture. • Page QA Checklist: browser-side functional and edge-case checks for behavior you can observe on the page. • Form Audit: visible fields, required states, labels, hints, client-side validation clues, and field relationships. • Fill Test Data: generates realistic fake values for the visible form fields and shows them for review. Fields are filled only after you confirm. It never submits forms or clicks buttons, and it always skips password, hidden, file upload, and payment card fields, as well as terms, consent, and marketing opt-in checkboxes. 🧰 In every role • Translate: translates the page text into the language of the WTFAA panel. Modes: Bilingual, Replace, Hover to Show. • Capture & Analyze: captures the visible part of the current tab and sends it to the AI for analysis. 🔍 Review before sending • Before a request goes out, the "Review before sending" preview shows what the AI will receive. • You can leave out the page or form context or the screenshot, and you can choose "Use locally filtered context". • Local heuristic redaction masks common sensitive patterns such as email addresses, phone numbers, tokens, and API keys, masks password field values, and leaves out hidden fields. • If the AI asks for more sections of the same page, they are sent with the same filtering choice. • Automated filtering is not perfect. Check the preview before sending anything sensitive. 🤖 AI access • Platform (No Key Required): with a Pro subscription, you can use AI without setting up any API key. • Use My Own Keys: no subscription needed. Add your own API keys for Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, DeepSeek, or Groq. • Your keys are kept in Chrome extension storage (which may sync with your Chrome profile) and are sent only to the provider you choose. 🔒 Privacy • Screenshots are taken only when you click Capture & Analyze. • Datafrog does not sell your personal data.
