YT Clean Player handles advertising elements and video ad breaks on YouTube. Choose one of two modes in the popup: Fast forward & auto skip (default) leaves YouTube ad requests and player ad data intact. It seeks through confirmed ad media and activates a visible Skip button when available. Full blocking also filters advertising data and blocks packaged advertising requests. This stronger mode may trigger YouTube playback warnings. Reload an open YouTube tab after changing modes so the new behavior applies from page load. YT Clean Player is free: no subscription, in-extension ads, account, or telemetry. Settings stay on your device. Player data is processed locally and is not sent to the developer. To activate some Skip buttons, the extension can use Chrome debugger permission. Chrome may show an active-debugging warning while the extension briefly attaches to the top-level YouTube tab, sends input to a visible Skip button, and detaches. See the privacy policy for details. YouTube changes its ad delivery frequently, so uninterrupted handling of every ad break cannot be guaranteed. If playback has a problem in Full blocking, switch to Fast forward & auto skip and reload the tab. Running several blockers at the same time can affect playback. Independent project.
