QR Code Reader
Overview
Right click to decode QR codes from images.
QR Code Reader adds one focused command to your browser: right-click an image, choose “Scan QR Code,” and the decoded content is copied to your clipboard. Key features: • Scan QR codes directly from webpage images. • Decode locally with the bundled jsQR library—images are never uploaded. • Copy decoded links, text, Wi-Fi details, contact cards, and other QR content. • Show a compact success or failure message on the current page. • Support English and Simplified Chinese. • No accounts, analytics, advertising, or background data collection. The extension accesses the current page only after you explicitly choose its image context-menu command. It does not request permanent access to every website. How to use: 1. Find an image containing a QR code. 2. Right-click the image. 3. Select “Scan QR Code.” 4. Paste the copied result wherever you need it. Some browser-protected pages and cross-origin images that prevent canvas access cannot be scanned because of browser security restrictions.
