Permission Audit — what extensions can reach

See what every extension you have installed is allowed to access. Runs locally and makes no network requests.

Chrome tells you an extension "can read and change all your data on all websites" and leaves it there. It does not tell you what that means, which of your extensions have it, or that the one you installed two years ago still has it and stopped being updated. That is the only way to audit them, and it is the only permission requested. On its own scale it rates "high", and the popup says so. An auditing tool that hid its own access would not deserve to be trusted. Holding a permission is not wrongdoing — a password manager genuinely needs every site. What matters is whether the access matches what the extension is for. This makes that judgement possible.
