Domain Details brings practical domain research into your browser. Open the toolbar popup to research the current website, enter a domain manually, or use the right-click menu on selected text and links. On marketplace landing pages, the extension extracts the actual domain being offered—for example, seocourse.com from an Afternic /forsale/seocourse.com URL—rather than looking up the marketplace itself. Features: - RDAP registration details with direct WHOIS fallback - Marketplace search from the popup - Marketplace-lander domain detection - Up to 20 changed registration snapshots per domain, stored locally - Field-level comparison between locally observed snapshots - Raw RDAP/WHOIS response view - Context-menu research for selected text and links - Prefilled DomainDetails.com result and monitoring links Privacy: The extension activates only after a toolbar or context-menu action. Registration lookups send the requested domain to an independent Cloudflare Worker; marketplace searches send it to the Domain Details API. Marketplace service analytics store the requested domain and result summary for reliability, service analytics, and abuse prevention as described in the privacy policy. Anonymous usage analytics are presented on first run, enabled by default, and can be turned off before continuing or later in the popup. Analytics never include searched domains, complete page URLs, page titles, marketplace names, WHOIS/RDAP content, local history, or account information. Extension data is not sold or used for targeted advertising. No Domain Details account is required for core lookup features.
