PRINN Companion — Chrome Web Store Listing Browse with less clutter and more control using PRINN Companion, the browser extension built to work with the PRINN desktop app. IMPORTANT: PRINN Companion does not work on its own — it requires the PRINN desktop app to be installed and running. The extension is a companion to the app: your Vault, credentials, and filtering rules are stored locally on your computer inside PRINN, and the extension connects to it. Without the PRINN desktop app running, autofill, site controls, and filtering are unavailable. PRINN Companion brings PRINN protection and Vault features directly into your browser. It blocks browser-level ads and unwanted popups, removes empty ad placeholders, and gives you fast per-site controls from the toolbar. Key features: - Block network ads, trackers, popups, and pop-unders. - Hide visual ads and remove leftover empty spaces on web pages. - Allow or block individual domains with one click. - Disable cosmetic filtering or advanced page filtering for a specific site. - Select and block unwanted page elements manually. - Find matching logins in PRINN Vault and fill login forms with one click. - Save new website credentials to PRINN Vault. - Generate strong passwords with custom length, letters, numbers, and symbols. - Pause or resume browser-level protection at any time. - Report false positives through PRINN for easier troubleshooting. PRINN Companion communicates with the PRINN service running locally on your computer (127.0.0.1). The PRINN desktop app is required for protection, site controls, and Vault integration — the extension does not work without it. No data leaves your device: the Vault is stored locally inside the desktop app, never in the cloud or in the extension itself. Install PRINN Companion to extend PRINN protection into Chrome and keep ad blocking, site controls, passwords, and autofill close at hand.
