Annotated brings the margins back to the internet. We're breaking commentary out of walled gardens and turning the static web into a shared, multiplayer experience. With the Annotated extension, you can highlight text on literally any webpage, right-click, and drop your thoughts right on the source text. But here is where it gets magical: your annotations become part of the public web. Whenever anyone else with the extension visits that exact same page, they will instantly see your yellow highlights natively in their browser. They can hover to read your insights, and reply directly on the page to start a global conversation. Don't read in isolation. Leave your mark on the web, discover what others are thinking, and let's read the internet together
