Check websites Domain Rating without leaving the page. The toolbar badge shows the score for the site in your active tab. Open the popup for a larger rating, the change since your last saved look, one-click copy, and a local Recent list of domains you chose to look up. You bring your own free Ahrefs APIv3 key. Domain Rating lookups go only to Ahrefs. The key and trail stay on this browser. FEATURES • Toolbar badge — Domain Rating for the current http(s) site (active tab only) • Popup — large rating, First look or score change, Copy (example.com — DR 94), Save to trail • Look up a domain — paste a hostname or URL without visiting it • Recent trail — local list of domains you explicitly looked up (open the popup, click Save to trail, or paste). Copy all as TSV for a spreadsheet. Open a listed site in a new tab. Clear removes the list • Same site, one row — a leading www. is ignored so www.example.com and example.com are not stored twice • In-popup Options — paste your free Ahrefs APIv3 key. Save checks the key first; a rejected key is not stored • Your key, this browser — stored locally and used only to look up Domain Rating HOW TO USE 1. Install the extension and click the toolbar icon 2. Open Options inside the popup, paste a free Ahrefs APIv3 key from your Ahrefs account, then Save 3. Visit any http or https page 4. Read Domain Rating on the toolbar badge (browsing does not add the site to Recent) 5. Open the popup for details, copy, and to record the site. Optionally paste another domain, Copy all as TSV, or Open a listed site PRIVACY This extension does not run ads or analytics and does not inject scripts into pages. It reads the hostname of the active tab so it can look up Domain Rating. It does not read page content. Your API key stays in local storage on this browser. Recent is not a browsing log: it stores hostname and rating only after you open the popup on a site, click Save to trail, or complete a pasted lookup. Badge prefetch can cache a score for about an hour so the toolbar can update as you switch tabs; that cache is not the trail. Lookups are sent only to Ahrefs. Saving a key sends one check request for example.com. Clear removes the trail. Upgrading from 1.2.x clears leftover badge-prefetch history so the trail starts from explicit lookups only.
