Overview

Save products with their original price, organize them, compare later changes, and total your shelf—locally in Chrome.

Save the price, not just the link. PriceShelf is a private, local wishlist and price tracker for products you are considering. Save an item from the toolbar or the page's right-click menu, review the detected details, and keep the price you saw as a fixed reference for future comparisons. What you can do: •Save a public product page or add an item manually. •Review or correct the title, price, currency, category and variant before saving. • Keep the saved price fixed and compare it with the latest checked price in money and percentage terms. •Recheck price and availability for one item or a selected batch. Batch checks use a resumable queue, while optional recurring checks run about every 12 hours for watched products from retailers you enable separately. •If a background check cannot verify a price, open the saved page and update the existing product from the visible page, or enter the update manually. •Review local price and availability history, including the time, evidence source and confidence of each observation. •Use Offer Lock to match the saved variant, seller, condition and pack quantity. Conflicting checks are rejected instead of updating the wrong offer. •Use Deal Lens to review the local 30-day low, observed low, high and median, percentage above the low, observation count and date range. •Group listings for the same product and compare retailers in one workspace. Currencies stay separate with no conversion. Lowest markers are limited to fresh, successfully verified offers that are not confirmed out of stock, on preorder or discontinued. •Create local alerts for a target price, percentage drop, new low or restock. Review them in the local inbox, snooze or rearm them, and optionally enable Chrome notifications. •Organize products with default or custom categories, private notes, priorities, offer groups, and watching, purchased or archived states. •Use smart views, search, filters and sorting to focus by category, price movement, lifecycle, priority, retailer or product name. •Select multiple products for safe, undoable bulk changes to category, priority, lifecycle, watching or archive state. Bulk tools never rewrite prices, URLs or product identity. •See shelf totals separately for each currency. •Back up or restore all local data as JSON, or export selected products or the full shelf as a spreadsheet-ready CSV. •Keep large shelves manageable with 10 products per page. Privacy and price accuracy: PriceShelf uses no account, developer analytics or telemetry, advertising, behavioral tracking, AI or remote code. Saved products, private notes, price and availability history, comparison groups, alert rules and inbox events stay in Chrome's local extension storage. Backups and exports are created on your device and are never uploaded by PriceShelf. During a price check, the saved HTTPS product URL is requested directly from the retailer. The retailer receives that URL and ordinary network data, but PriceShelf omits retailer sign-in cookies and the PriceShelf developer receives neither the request nor the result. HTTP links can be saved and opened, but are not used for price checks. Retailer pages differ. Some require a login, block automated requests, or render prices only after JavaScript. When a reliable current price cannot be read, PriceShelf keeps the last known value, explains what happened, and offers an open-page or manual recovery instead of guessing. The original saved price never changes automatically. No product images are stored. PriceShelf is free to install and use.
