Overview
Quick reference tool for D&D Dungeon Masters. Access equipment prices, d100 tables, and more without leaving your browser.
HomebrewDnD - DM Quick Reference (v1.3.0) Every DM ends up with a dozen tabs open mid-session — a dice roller in one, a half-remembered table in another, someone's homebrew tavern menu in a third. This puts the parts you actually reach for into one panel that sits beside your game. INITIATIVE TRACKER Add players and NPCs and the order sorts itself. Track HP with health bars, apply conditions like Poisoned, Stunned or Concentrating, and step through turns with a round counter. Duplicate an NPC when four goblins turn up instead of one. Encounters persist between sessions, so closing the browser doesn't cost you the fight. DICE ROLLER d4 through d100, an advantage/disadvantage toggle for d20 rolls, and custom notation when you need 2d6+3. Every roll goes into a history list, so when a player asks "wait, what did I actually roll?" you have an answer. DECK OF MANY THINGS (new) All 22 cards, drawn with a proper flip and a suspenseful pause you can turn off when the table is impatient. Build whatever deck you're running: the full 22, the classic 13, boons only, or pick the cards yourself. Each draw shows the card's full effect along with the fiddly parts that are easy to forget at the table — the Fool forces another draw, the Jester offers two more or 10,000 XP, Donjon and the Void end drawing entirely. Draws are logged with the player's name, and the log copies straight into your session notes. Ships with illustrated art for every card. If you'd rather use your own, you can swap in any image per card; it stays on your device. THIEVES' CANT (new) For the rogue who asks "is there any thieves' cant here?" in every single room. Pick a district — tavern, docks, sewers, noble ward, graveyard, and nine more — and get a complete sign you can narrate on the spot: a sketched glyph, where it's hidden, how fresh it is, and what it means. Every mark is stamped as friendly ground, a warning, an opportunity, or guild business, which usually doubles as a plot hook. The written description always matches the drawn glyph, so you can describe it and show it. There's an overheard phrase with its translation too, for when the rogue wants to talk the talk. Keep the good ones in the Ledger so the mark the party found last week still means the same thing when they walk past it again. NPC GENERATOR A name, appearance, voice, personality and a quirk in one click. Lock the parts you like, reroll the rest, then drop the finished NPC straight into initiative. Filter by race, and save the ones worth keeping. D100 TABLES Trinkets, Wild Magic Surge, tavern drinks and tavern events, NPC quirks, loot, weather, dungeon dressing, and what's in the corpse's pockets. Roll on the table, or type in the number your player rolled and look it up. Results appear inline instead of sending you scrolling. EQUIPMENT REFERENCE Weapons, armor, adventuring gear, tools, mounts and vehicles, magic items and potions, plus homebrew tavern drinks. Search across all of it at once, and favorite the things you look up constantly. HOW IT'S LAID OUT Two surfaces, on purpose. The toolbar popup is for a quick roll, a fast lookup, or a single card draw without breaking your flow. Ctrl+Shift+H opens the full side panel beside your game for everything else — initiative, deck building, the Ledger. You can also right-click any text on a page and search it directly. Dark theme throughout, because sessions run late. Built by a DM who got tired of the tab juggling. Bug reports and feature requests are welcome: contacthomebrewdnd@gmail.com More at homebrewdnd.com --- WHAT'S NEW (v1.3.0) -------------------- New Extras tab, with two additions: Deck of Many Things — all 22 cards with custom deck building (full 22, classic 13, boons only, or hand-picked), a draw history you can copy into your notes, and reminders for the cards that change the rules mid-draw: Fool, Jester, Idiot, Donjon and the Void. Illustrated art for every card, or use your own images. Thieves' Cant — generate guild marks for 13 districts: a drawn glyph, where it hides, what it means, and a coded phrase to overhear. Save the ones you like to the Ledger so they stay consistent between sessions. Both are available from the popup for a quick draw, with the full versions in the side panel.
