Roll records a bug so someone can actually fix it: the video, every click and keystroke, console messages, and network requests with their responses — time-aligned, in one link or one hand-off to your coding agent. How to record 1. Click Roll, then Record. Or press Command-Shift-Space (Ctrl-Shift-Space on Windows/Linux) on any site. 2. Reproduce the bug. A small bar on the page shows the timer, Pause, and Stop. 3. Press Stop. The viewer opens: the clip, with every error and failed request marked on the scrubber. 4. Open in Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT - or Copy link for a teammate. Two ways to record • Tab - instant, no prompts, records the tab you are on. Move it to another tab with Option-Shift-R (Alt-Shift-R). • Screen - Chrome asks what to share once (a tab, a window, or the whole screen). Switching tabs is then captured automatically. Rewind Leave Rewind on and Roll keeps the last 2 minutes in memory (5 on Pro). When a bug happens, press Save — what just happened becomes a recording. Nothing is stored until you save. The free Roll MCP server serves it to Cursor and Claude Code straight from your disk. No video in the prompt. Privacy Recording never uploads.
