Overview
Magnet-pick page images, quick local pixelate & sharp avatars, then send to AniPixel.
Have you zoomed a sprite or pixel avatar in Chrome and watched it turn soft and muddy? Browsers smooth images by default — great for photos, bad for pixel art. AniPixel Companion fixes that first, then stays useful as a light studio on the page. Stop the blur (Sharp pixels) • Click the toolbar icon → turn on Sharp pixels • Page images keep hard edges (nearest-neighbor / pixelated rendering) • Stays on as you browse; turn it off anytime • Chrome system pages can’t be sharpened — use a normal http(s) page Also in the companion • Magnet pick — hover a page image, click to pull it into the floating studio • Local pixel preview — block size, colors, dither; download or copy • Avatar export — round crop, platform sizes, 1×–4× nearest-neighbor • Send to AniPixel — Pixelize, Remove background, or Fix pixel grid when you want AI How to start 1. Pin AniPixel and open the popup 2. Enable Sharp pixels (browsing) and/or Magnet (capture) 3. Open studio when you want to edit or hand off to the site Privacy in short • Local pixel and avatar export stay on your device • Images reach AniPixel only when you choose a site action • No broad “read all websites” permission — sharp/capture inject after you use the toolbar, context menu, or Open studio • Full policy: https://anipixel.xyz/privacy
