Download files and folders from GitHub or GitLab via context menu.

Open source browser extension for GitHub and GitLab. It adds two entries to the right click menu: • Download, which saves to your default downloads folder • Save as..., which opens the file dialog so you can choose the location and name Both work on a single file, a folder, or an entire repository. Folders and repositories are packed into a zip. Single files are saved unchanged. This avoids cloning the repository or saving files one at a time. Self hosted and enterprise instances are supported. Enter the URL pattern of your server on the options page and the menu entries appear there too. Either platform and either action can be switched off. The extension requests access only to the sites you configure. It collects no data and sends nothing to third parties.
