WHEN IT HELPS • You finished a research session and want the sources saved before you close everything. • You are keeping 30 tabs open "for later" and would rather have a reading list. • You are handing work over and need to send someone every link you were looking at. • You want a clean window before a screen share, a demo or a call. • Your browser is slow from open tabs and you do not want to lose them. WHAT IT DOES • Copies all tab URLs — every tab in the current window, in tab order, numbered 1, 2, 3… • Closes those tabs in the same click. No second step, no confirmation dialog. • Keep the first tab open (on by default) — the page you are on is spared, so the window stays and Chrome does not quit. • Don't copy the first tab's link (optional) — leaves that spared tab out of the copied list. • Strip UTM tags (optional) — removes utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, gclid, fbclid, msclkid, yclid, si, mc_* and other tracking parameters before copying, so the links you save are clean and short. • Pinned tabs are never copied and never closed — pin anything you want to keep. • Browser pages (chrome://, extension pages, about:blank) are left out of the list, because there is nowhere useful to paste them. • Your three settings are remembered between sessions. HOW TO USE IT 1. Click the TabSweep icon in the toolbar. 2. Tick the options you want. 3. Press "Copy & close". BUILT SO YOU CANNOT LOSE A TAB The copy always happens first. If the clipboard is unavailable for any reason, nothing is closed and the popup tells you so. A failed copy can never cost you your tabs. PRIVACY No servers, no analytics, no ads, no account, no tracking. Tab addresses are read only at the moment you press the button, go straight to your clipboard, and never leave your device. The only thing the extension stores is the state of its three checkboxes. Chrome will show a "Read your browsing history" warning on install. That is Chrome's standard wording for the "tabs" permission, which is what lets an extension see tab addresses and close tabs — it is the entire function of this extension. Nothing is recorded, uploaded or shared. Works offline. Interface in English.
