Overview
Record your screen with cinematic auto-zoom, or frame screenshots on a gradient you mix yourself. Fully local, no account.
Two tools, one Chrome extension: cinematic auto-zoom screen recording, and a screenshot editor that frames a capture on a gradient you mix yourself. Both run entirely inside your browser — no backend, no account, nothing uploaded. TWO TOOLS, ONE ICON Click the toolbar icon and the Studio opens on Record. A toggle in the header switches to Screenshot mode instantly — same tab, same permissions, same "everything stays on your device" guarantee. RECORDING: THE "SCREEN STUDIO" ZOOM Auto-Zoom watches where you click and type while you record, then renders a smooth camera move that pushes in on the action and eases back out when you pause. HOW IT WORKS • Share a Chrome tab (recommended — gives pixel-accurate zoom) or your screen • Use your product normally: click, type, scroll • Stop recording — the zoom renders automatically • Preview and download a WebM WHAT MAKES RECORDING DIFFERENT • Zoom that reads intent — clicks pan straight to the point; typing opens tight and holds still, reframing once instead of chasing every keystroke • Genuinely constant frame rate — the renderer seeks and encodes every frame directly through WebCodecs, so 30fps or 60fps means exactly that, with no dropped-frame drift • Your aspect ratio, untouched — exports at your screen's own ratio; nothing is cropped to force 16:9 • Eleven gradient backdrops, or record edge-to-edge with none • Pause, resume, and automatic dead-tail trimming • 15-minute cap per session, to bound memory use while rendering SCREENSHOTS: FRAME ON A GRADIENT YOU MIX YOURSELF Most screenshot tools hand you a fixed palette. This one asks for a start colour and an end colour — colour picker or hex — and builds the backdrop from those. HOW IT WORKS • Capture a tab or screen, drop an image file, or paste one from your clipboard • The whole capture lands in the editor • Want just part of it? Crop opens a modal editor — drag out a box, move it, resize it, apply • Mix your two colours, choose Mesh / Linear / Radial, set padding, corner radius, shadow, and an optional 3D tilt • Download a PNG (up to 2560px on the longest edge) or copy it straight to your clipboard WHAT MAKES SCREENSHOTS DIFFERENT • Two colours, not a preset grid — every named pair only prefills the fields; both stay fully editable • A real crop window — drag, move, resize, with rule-of-thirds guides and a live pixel readout • Genuine 3D perspective on the tilt, not a flat CSS skew — the far edge foreshortens correctly and the drop shadow follows the tilted, rounded silhouette • Film grain sits behind its own switch and is off until you turn it on • Output ratio (Auto / 16:9 / 1:1 / 9:16) adds backdrop instead of cropping your shot • No new permissions — screenshot mode runs on exactly the same access as the recorder COMPLETELY LOCAL — NO BACKEND, NO ACCOUNT Everything happens inside your browser. There is no server to upload to, no account to create, and no analytics. The extension's content security policy sets connect-src to 'none' — Chrome itself blocks every outbound network request the extension could attempt. This isn't a policy promise, it's enforced by the browser. The tracker that drives the recording zoom reports only the coordinates of your clicks and keystrokes — never the text you type, form values, or page content. Screenshots you capture, drop in, or paste are held in memory only while you work, and discarded when you load another image or close the tab. FREE, NO LIMITS No account, no subscription, no watermark, on either tool. Requires Chrome or Edge 116+ for the constant-frame-rate renderer. Older versions fall back to a real-time renderer.
