Sort YouTube Playlist by Duration
Overview
Sort any playlist you own by video length, shortest or longest first, right on the playlist page.
Reorder the videos in a playlist you own by their duration, without dragging hundreds of videos by hand. • Shortest-first or longest-first, with an alphabetical tiebreaker for equal-length videos • Sorts the WHOLE playlist, not just the videos currently loaded on screen • Fast: uses YouTube's own reorder API, so even a 300-video playlist finishes in seconds • Honest: it re-checks the finished order against YouTube's servers and only reports success when the playlist is actually sorted — it never silently half-finishes • Dry Run: preview the exact before/after order before applying anything • Duration filters (only sort videos within a length range), playlist stats, and CSV export • A drag-and-drop fallback engine is used automatically if the fast path is ever unavailable How to use: open a playlist you own (or Watch Later), set the playlist's "Sort by" to Manual, open the "Sort playlist by duration" panel below the playlist header, pick your order, and click Sort. Keep the playlist on "Manual" afterward to preserve the order. Works only on playlists you have permission to edit. Open source (GPL-2.0). Made by LunarWerx — https://lunarwerx.com
