TabGlance is a keyboard-first visual tab switcher for Chrome and Chromium browsers (Edge, Brave, Vivaldi, Opera, Arc) — like Alt-Tab / Cmd-Tab, but for your tabs, with thumbnail previews. Switch between tabs by sight, not by reading titles. TabGlance shows a visual grid of thumbnail previews in most-recently-used order, so you jump to the right page instantly — even with dozens of tabs open. No servers, no accounts, no analytics, no telemetry, no tracking of any kind — the extension ships with no networking code at all, so it is technically incapable of sending your data anywhere. Tab titles, URLs, and thumbnails are used only to draw the switcher and are stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local); the thumbnail cache is size-bounded and auto-evicted. Nothing you browse ever leaves your device, and the code we ship is plain, unminified JavaScript you can inspect for yourself. Why TabGlance asks for access to all sites: The thumbnail previews are real screenshots taken with Chrome's captureVisibleTab API, and Chrome only grants that API to extensions that hold "all sites" access — narrower permissions are refused by the browser itself, so this is the minimum Chrome allows for tab thumbnails. The access is optional and requested only the first time you open the switcher (a fresh install asks for nothing). Decline it and TabGlance still works — tabs simply show a colored letter tile instead of a thumbnail.
