InterviewTrix helps you go from “I found a job” to “I’m ready to apply” — without copy-pasting. Open the extension on any job posting, capture the role in one click, see how well your resume matches, save the job to your tracker, tailor a resume for that role, practice an AI mock interview, and auto-fill application forms with your profile and compiled PDF. Works on most of the job portals and company career pages. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ HOW IT WORKS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 1. PIN THE EXTENSION Add InterviewTrix from the Chrome Web Store and pin it from the puzzle icon. 2. CONNECT YOUR ACCOUNT Open the extension sidebar on a job page and sign in or connect to InterviewTrix. If you’re already signed in on interviewtrix.com in Chrome, connection is seamless. 3. FETCH THE JOB Click **Fetch Job** to read the posting from the page you’re viewing — title, company, location, and job description. If the page is hard to read, highlight the description and click **Use selected text**, or paste the JD manually. 4. SEE YOUR ATS MATCH After fetching, InterviewTrix compares the job against your selected resume and shows: • Match score (%) • Verdict (strong / moderate / weak) • Skills you match vs. skills you’re missing • A clear **Next Step** — apply and practice, or tailor your resume first Switch resumes anytime with **Try with Other Resume** or from **Manage Autofill Data**. 5. TRACK THE JOB Click **Track Job** to save the posting to your InterviewTrix Job Tracker. The button shows **Tracked** when that job is already saved — including when you switch between jobs on job list view. Duplicate jobs are detected automatically so you don’t add the same role twice. 6. TAILOR YOUR RESUME Click **Tailor Resume** to open InterviewTrix with the captured job pre-filled. InterviewTrix creates a **new resume copy** tailored to that role — your original resume is never overwritten. Edit, save, and download the PDF on InterviewTrix. 7. PRACTICE AN INTERVIEW Click **Practice Interview** to start an AI mock interview for that specific job — great when your match score is strong and you want to rehearse before applying. 8. AUTO FILL & ATTACH RESUME After your tailored PDF is compiled on InterviewTrix, return to the application page and click **Auto Fill**. The extension: • Attaches your compiled resume PDF to the form • Fills matching fields from your InterviewTrix profile (name, email, phone, experience, CTC, links, and more) The first time you use Auto Fill on a site, Chrome asks you to allow access to **that site only**. You review the form and submit it yourself — InterviewTrix never submits applications for you.
