Minute Guard
Overview
Stops videos shorter than one minute across the web, except on sites you allow.
Minute Guard protects your attention by stopping videos shorter than 60 seconds before they pull you into another feed. It works across ordinary websites—including social networks, video platforms, news sites, and embedded players—while leaving longer videos available. Use the toolbar popup to pause the guard or allow the current website. A dedicated exceptions screen makes it easy to review and remove allowed domains. Key features: • Stops finite videos under 60 seconds • Works across normal HTTP and HTTPS websites • Allows one-click exceptions for trusted sites • Includes all subdomains when a domain is allowed • Keeps settings locally on your device • Requires no account or sign-in • Contains no ads, analytics, tracking, or remote code • Sends no browsing or video activity to the developer Chrome protects internal pages and the Chrome Web Store from content scripts, so Minute Guard does not run on those browser-owned surfaces.
