Overview
Copy any page as Markdown or AI-ready text, and let your BigIdeasDB AI read Reddit through your own browser. For BigIdeasDB Pro.
BigIdeasDB Clipper brings web content into your AI tools. Copy any webpage in formats built for AI assistants, and turn on the Reddit Connector so your BigIdeasDB AI connection can read Reddit through your own logged-in browser. COPY IN THREE FORMATS Markdown: Converts any webpage to properly formatted Markdown. Headings, lists, tables, code blocks, and links are all preserved. Perfect for documentation, Notion, Obsidian, or any Markdown-based tool. LLM Format: Built specifically for AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT. Strips out navigation, sidebars, ads, images, forms, and other noise that wastes tokens, and wraps the clean content in context tags with the page title and URL. Plain Text: Just the text content, with cleaned whitespace and no boilerplate. SEND TO AI IN ONE CLICK Click "Send to Claude" or "Send to ChatGPT" and Clipper copies the page in LLM format, opens a new conversation, and pastes the content into the chat. REDDIT CONNECTOR (NEW) Reddit now blocks logged-out access to its data. If you use the BigIdeasDB MCP in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another AI client, turn on the Reddit Connector in Clipper's Reddit tab: when your AI asks for Reddit posts, Clipper fetches those reddit.com pages in your browser, using your own Reddit login, and returns them to your AI. No Reddit API keys or developer account needed. It is off by default and asks for reddit.com access only when you turn it on. CLIPBOARD HISTORY Every copy is saved locally in the extension. Browse your history, re-copy any past item with one click, or clear it anytime. Stores up to 50 items. RIGHT-CLICK CONTEXT MENU Right-click anywhere on a page to copy it as Markdown, LLM format or plain text without opening the popup. PRIVACY Copying, history and Send to AI happen entirely in your browser; page content you copy is never sent to BigIdeasDB. Clipper contacts bigideasdb.com to check your Pro membership. When you turn on the Reddit Connector, the reddit.com pages your BigIdeasDB AI connection requests are fetched in your browser and sent to BigIdeasDB only to return them to your AI; they are deleted from our servers as soon as they are delivered. Clipper never reads other Reddit pages and does nothing with Reddit while the connector is off. WHO IS THIS FOR Founders and researchers who feed web pages and Reddit discussions to AI assistants: developers reading docs, founders researching competitors and customer pain points, marketers analyzing articles, and anyone who regularly sends web content to Claude or ChatGPT. REQUIREMENTS BigIdeasDB Clipper requires an active BigIdeasDB Pro subscription. The Reddit Connector also needs Chrome to be running when your AI uses Reddit tools.
