Flyout

Save selected text, links, and pages to Flyout on your Mac.

Save what matters in Chrome without breaking your flow. Flyout for Chrome sends selected text, the current page, or a link to Flyout on the same Mac. Requires Flyout for macOS 14 or later. The extension is a free companion to the Mac app. Flyout for Mac includes a 7-day free trial and is sold separately. With Flyout for Chrome, you can: • Save content as a new note, create a note inside a folder, or add it to an existing note or quick page. • Add captured content to the beginning or end of an existing note or quick page. • Choose Smart, Quote and source, Title and link, Plain text and link, Text only, or Link only. • Review and edit the Markdown before saving. • Keep links, lists, tables, and code blocks from a selection as Markdown. • Save a screenshot of the visible part of the page, or right-click an image to save it to a note. • Assign a keyboard shortcut that saves to your last destination without opening the popup. • Open the saved note in Flyout when you are done. Privacy Flyout for Chrome runs only after you click its toolbar button, choose one of its context-menu commands, or press a shortcut you assigned. It reads the active page title and URL and, when present, only the text you selected. A screenshot captures only the visible part of the current tab. When you save an image, the extension downloads only that image from the site it comes from; for an image hosted on another site, Chrome first asks for permission for that site. Captured content is sent through Chrome Native Messaging to Flyout on the same Mac. It is not sent to Flyout's developer or any third party. The extension uses no advertising or analytics.
