X Search Filter
Overview
Block specific users and keywords in X (formerly Twitter) search results
X Search Filter keeps your X (Twitter) search results clean and noise-free by letting you block specific users and keywords in real time — no account required, nothing sent to any server. KEY FEATURES • Block users — hide all tweets from specific accounts in search results. Just enter a username (@ is optional). • Block keywords — filter out tweets containing unwanted words or phrases (case-insensitive). • Hashtag / Cashtag count filter — automatically hide tweets that contain an excessive number of # or $ tags (spam detection). The threshold is fully adjustable. • Instant effect — blocked content disappears immediately without a page reload. • Manage your list — a full-featured options page lets you view, remove, or bulk-clear every blocked user and keyword. • Multilingual UI — interface available in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese. Follows your browser language by default; switch anytime from the extension popup. • Privacy-first — all data is stored locally via Chrome's sync storage. No account, no tracking, no external requests. HOW TO USE 1. Click the extension icon in your toolbar. 2. Type a username or keyword and press "Add" (or Enter). 3. Search on X — matching results are hidden automatically. 4. Open "Manage Block List" for the full list view and advanced rule settings. PERMISSIONS • storage — saves your block list locally and syncs it across your Chrome profile. • Host access to x.com and twitter.com — required to read and filter search result content.
